Neuro-IOM is a multifunctional, modular platform designed for advanced intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM). It enables the surgical team to detect potential nerve tissue damage in real time and take immediate corrective action, significantly reducing the risk of postoperative neurological deficits.
In many countries, IONM is a mandatory standard of care for complex procedures such as spine, brain, and brainstem surgeries. In spine surgeries, including scoliosis correction, intraoperative decisions are often guided directly by neurophysiological monitoring. Neuro-IOM supports these critical decisions with accuracy, reliability, and speed.
Neuro-IOM is the first Russian-developed IONM system, created by Neurosoft, a company with extensive experience in neurophysiological equipment design and manufacturing. The system is CE certified and is successfully used in more than 100 hospitals and healthcare facilities across Russia, France, Brazil, Turkey, Jordan, Bulgaria, and other countries.
The standard Neuro-IOM (Version 2) configuration is engineered to meet the demands of virtually all types of neurological and spine surgeries. Its powerful 32-channel amplifier and high-voltage transcranial electrical stimulator (up to 1000 V) enable reliable monitoring of motor pathways, even in the most challenging surgical conditions.
64 amplifier inputs (32 bipolar channels)
2 dedicated channels for routine EMG, NCS, and EP
12 electrical stimulation channels
2 channels for direct nerve stimulation
4 channels for transcranial electrical stimulation
Integrated auditory, visual, and pattern stimulation channels
ES detector channels
The system includes acquisition and stimulator pods with 5-meter cables, allowing flexible placement away from the operating table and ensuring unobstructed movement for the surgical team. A complete set of specially designed electrodes, PC hardware, and dedicated software is included.
Neuro-IOM supports more than 10 intraoperative monitoring modalities through preset and customizable templates:
Motor Evoked Potentials (MEP)
Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SEP)
Free-run and triggered EMG
Direct nerve stimulation
Auditory Evoked Potentials (AEP)
Visual Evoked Potentials (VEP)
EEG
ECoG
Direct cortical stimulation
Train-of-Four (TOF) stimulation
These modalities allow comprehensive monitoring of motor and sensory pathways, peripheral nerve integrity, brain activity, and functional cortical mapping.
Neuro-IOM is equipped with robust, high-performance stimulators, including:
Transcranial electrical stimulator up to 1000 V
12-channel electrical stimulator
Low-current stimulator
Auditory and visual stimulators
The transcranial electrical stimulator supports single pulse, train, double-train, and combined stimulation modes, ensuring reliable motor evoked potential acquisition across a wide range of clinical scenarios.
The Neuro-IOM.NET software offers predefined templates for different surgical procedures, including modality settings, stimulation parameters, acquisition settings, and screen layouts. These templates significantly reduce setup time and streamline workflow in the operating room.
All templates are fully editable and can be saved for future use, providing unmatched flexibility. With its extensive channel capacity, independent parameter control, and customizable workflows, Neuro-IOM delivers a level of adaptability rarely available in IONM systems.
